MY NIVEA BABY TIMELINE

9 weeks pregnant

You have entered week nine and the embryo may now officially be called a fetus, which literally means "little one". The fetus is now about the size of a strawberry. At an inch long, your baby’s hands can flex at the wrist and fold over the heart. Eyelids cover the eyes, the ears begin to take shape and the reproductive organs are developing.

Over three-quarters of all newly pregnant women experience nausea. And despite its name, morning sickness can strike at any time. Pregnancy nausea usually begins at between four and six weeks of pregnancy.
