Warehouse Supervisor

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overall managing of warehouse for company-owned inventory
    o   Point person responsible to lead the warehouse team to have smooth day-to-day operations
    o   Review and redesign warehouse operation process, train team member/s, and staff to ensure understanding and full process implementation
    o   Monitor and manage warehouse capacity to minimize volume deviation and ensure a seamless operation level
    o   Collect problems of warehouse daily operation, propose solutions, use new technology or optimize the process to make the operation smooth and effective
    o   Deal with emergency cases in daily transfer, urgent order, rejection and return, to meet business needs on-time in-full while being cost-effective
    o   Conduct regular inventory review to ensure stock accuracy in required level 
    o   Lead warehouse performance evaluation and contract management
  • Custodian of Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
    o   Collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting data to monitor & increase general warehouse operations
    o   Analyzing the KPIs to determine baseline and areas for improvement for operational changes and action
    o   Recommending modifications and changes, if any, to the appropriate KPIs and/or its computation
  • Assisting in any special project's initiation process, study proper & analysis to allocate resource/s
    o   Participating in ongoing decisions concerning special projects' data collections, study design, methodology, and data analysis
  • Responsible for access administration and monitoring, reports design, reporting and maintenance
  • Responsible for budget management for Logistics-related cost and budget

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Bachelor Degree or above
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • 5 years and above experience in logistics and warehousing related work in FMCG industry Experience working with outsourced logistics service providers
  • Strong ability of data analysis, good at identifying risks and opportunities from the data
  • Strong ability of risk and compliance control
  • Strong ability to drive changes and conduct innovation
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal 
  • Background in SAP is a must
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Team Player
