NIVEA LUMINOUS630® Skin Glow Serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally Nivea wouldn't be the brand I go to for my skincare needs, but actually I quite like this serum. It is a randomly pink coloured liquid with a thin, watery texture that sinks in quickly. I could definitely do without the fragrance which it’s way too strong and synthetic, but that's just me, I generally like my skincare products unscented. Though the claim about 'doubling your skin glow' feels like some unverifiable marketing woo-woo, the serum does a good job moisturizing the skin and leaves it soft and smooth, but not oily, no break outs either. I’d used a few niacinamide serums before but I actually prefer this formula. It's lighter, more hydrating, and works well under makeup. Is my skin twice as glowy as before? Hard to tell, but it definitely looks and feels somewhat glowi-er.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product, but having 7sed other serums on the face previously, I found this sunk into the skin too quickly, therefore there is the temptation to use too much. I felt it didn't "glide" onto the skin. It dies offer good value for money, as is somewhat cheaper than some of the "luxury " brands, but personally would prefer something more moisturising for my dehydrated perimenopausal skin type. (My skin is not particularly dry) Did offer my skin an added "glow" after using though.
