NIVEA Soft Moisturizing Cream

Used this for years. Suddenly found it to be like jelly that doesn’t absorb into my skin. Just leaves white sticky smears. Upon researching online for the reason, I discovered a formula change to a ‘New Vegan Formula’. Is there a non vegan formula available? I can no longer use this and am shopping around other brands to replace Nivea Soft.

Oh Nivea - what have you done introducing the new Vegan Formula cream.?? I have used Nivea Soft for many many years. I am now 71 and unfortunately ran out of the stock I kept. When I purchased the new tub I did not notice that it stated Vegan Formula on the lid, I thought that it was just my usual product. When I opened it I did notice straight away that the cream didn't look as luxurious as before. I thought I'd try it anyway but honestly really hate it. It doesn't do anything at all for my skin. It just seems to soak in and leave my skin feeling sticky. I certainly won't be purchasing again and definitely would not recommend it. I don't understand why Nivea Soft was on the market for so long and used by so many people that they had to replace the original Nivea Soft with this Vegan cream!!. Instead why couldn't the Vegan cream be an additional product for those who wanted to buy Vegan??!! I have searched everywhere to see if there is any old stock of the original Nivea Soft in various stores but to no avail. The hunt for a new face cream will commence but I'm really disappointed in Nivea.

My mum has been using Nivea on me since I was a child I’m 24 and have never changed until now. Hate the new formula not good for sensitive skin at all whatsoever!! Gel like texture completely strips away the moisture from the cream and does not absorb well. It’s been hard trying to find a new moisturiser.
